"We had a great dining experience! Jeff provided excellent service — very friendly and attentive! I came here with my friends for a gathering, and we were all very satisfied with the food. Everything was fresh and delicious. They offer over ten different soup bases to choose from, and the set meals are very affordable with generous portions. All of us were completely full! One of my friends was on birthday month, and the restaurant kindly gave free tofu pudding desserts to everyone at our table — such a nice gesture! I chose the mala and tom yum soup bases, and both were incredibly flavorful and tasty. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying hotpot meal! "As always the prawn soup here is my comfort food. Super thick and rich, havn’t been able to find a place that has the prawn soup taste on par w theirs. Service is top notch too, the aunties here r so cute and friendly, always attending to my table’s needs. They take away the empty plates as soon as we finish the ingredients. Will recommend everyone to come try their prawn soup base!"

"1 for 1 ribeye set with UOB card promotion is very worth it. Queue system a little unclear. Staff busy doing payment for other patrons but there was a man awaiting for a seat. However a few people already sat on the bench seat which was for queue before he was informed (~7 mins the man waited). He should be allowed to skip queue, but because that was not the first thought, he left disappointed. Service can definitely be better. It was crowded when we were seated down, had to sit beside at a table whereby the dishes were not cleared for about 10 mins. However staff was apologetic without prompt and said they were currently understaffed. Overall it was a pretty decent experience. I do feel that if not for 1 for 1, the price can be quite steep."

I love that everyone gets their own personal hotpot, so you can choose exactly the soup base you want without compromising. The ingredients are fresh and generous, with a wide selection of meats, seafood, and veggies. Prep is fast, service is friendly, and the overall flow is smooth even during busy hours. I tried the Bak Kut Teh and Tom Yum soup bases — soothing, spicy, and super satisfying. Watching your ingredients cook in your favourite broth is oddly entertaining, and the flavours hit the craving perfectly."

"I had one of the most heartwarming dining experiences at City Hotpot. It was my birthday, and when the waitress, Jessica, found out, she went truly above and beyond. The restaurant didn’t have any cakes for birthday celebrations, but Jessica actually stepped out to a nearby cake shop and bought me a cake out of her own pocket. She told me that I reminded her of her son, who is four years younger than me, and that small conversation made the gesture even more meaningful. I was genuinely touched — her kindness made my day in a way I’ll never forget. Thank you, Jessica, for your warmth, generosity, and sincerity. City Hotpot is lucky to have someone like you.
